Hi, I’m Lindsey.

I'm so glad you're here.

I started Aligned Supports because I believe every child deserves an education that recognizes their strengths, honors their unique needs, and gives them the opportunity to thrive. I also believe families deserve to feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate the special education process.

As a former licensed special education teacher and curriculum leader, I've spent more than a decade working alongside students, families, teachers, and school teams. My experience spans the classroom, curriculum development, behavior support, reading intervention, IEP development, and instructional leadership. Those experiences have given me a deep understanding of both the educational system and the challenges families often face when trying to advocate for their child.

What matters most to me, though, isn't just understanding special education, it's helping families feel seen, heard, and empowered. I know how overwhelming meetings, evaluations, and educational decisions can feel. My goal is to bring clarity to the process, explain things in plain language, and help families approach each step with confidence.

I believe the best outcomes happen when advocacy and collaboration work together. Whenever possible, I strive to build positive relationships with school teams while keeping the student's needs at the center of every conversation. Every child deserves adults who are aligned in helping them succeed.

When I'm not working with families, you'll usually find me at home in Montana with my husband and our twin boys and toddler, who keep life wonderfully busy and full of adventure. I love a good home project, getting lost in a great book, and spending time outdoors whenever I can.

Thank you for considering Aligned Supports. Whether you're preparing for your first IEP meeting or navigating a more complex situation, I'd be honored to walk alongside your family and help you advocate with confidence.

The name Aligned Supports reflects my philosophy that the strongest educational outcomes happen when families, educators, and service providers work together with a shared focus: helping children succeed. My role is to help bring clarity, alignment, and thoughtful advocacy to that process.
